Indiana State Police say Laura Hurst, 36, was found dead in a home filled with 140 snakes. The Benton County Sheriff, Don Munson, who owns the home, found Hurst unresponsive. Medics tried to save her but were unsuccessful. An autopsy report says the cause of death was asphyxiation due to strangulation by a snake. Police say none of the snakes in the home are venomous, and all except one were inside cages.
